Publication

The conference organizers plan to publish the conference proceedings.

Preliminary discussions about publishing the conference proceedings are underway with Eisenbrauns, who has expressed a desire to publish essays from the conference that cohere around the theme of Household Archaeology. To this end the conference organizers are currently seeking subvention funds to help ensure that the resulting volume will be both complete and reasonably priced.

Presenters are asked to consider whatever comments or input that might be given by conference participants when making their revisions. Revised papers are due to the editors on July 1, 2009. After the editors have received and reviewed the papers the conference board will meet to discuss the submissions, the organization of the book and the composition of the introduction. The editors plan to spend July and August 2009 editing the papers at which time the authors will receive comments from the editors and suggestions for changes. The edited manuscript will be sent to the author of the afterward (Roger Matthews) in September 2009. The editors aim to have a completed manuscript by January 1, 2010 at which time the editors will send the manuscript to the publisher. The publisher will then send the manuscript out for peer-review.
